MODEL WORKSHOPS

If you ask the average person, "So, how did you become a model?" Most people can only give you some vague suggestion. Take pictures, network, right place/right time are a few.
For the aspiring model, one of the first goals to accomplish in this industry is to obtain an agent that will represent, market and book them for paid assignments. It is almost impossible to build a successful career in this industry without one. The problem is this is found to be one of the most difficult parts of the business for the aspiring model.

Why?

Well one of the main reasons is Bad information. Most people hear so much bad information floating around on what to do that it can be very confusing. So it is very common to get misled and start into a vicious cycle
This is a very saturated industry. If you want to be successful you must learn what it takes to make yourself stand out among all the rest. You must also learn what the correct roads to take are. There are many pitfalls in this industry to fall into. Which roads should you invest time, resources and money into and which ones should you avoid.

Developmental workshops are designed to take aspiring models and develop them to the point where they are Marketable and agents want THEM. Models take developmental classes in a 10 wk workshop designed to give them the tools needed to enhance their trade skills, build their portfolios correctly and develop composition cards. Industry specific knowledge on how to Brand, Market and develop a demand for yourself. Many of these traits are seldom learned at an agency.

The model must be able to sell themselves to the agent. Agents are interested in Models who are prepared for the assignments and ready and able to go to work.
